I’m a Frayed Knot

What a life we are living now. Over the past couple of years of the pandemic, there has been tragic loss all over the world. The biggest tragedy is the death of over 5 million souls globally, followed by the many hundreds of thousands plus, now living with long covid. Not to mention those who have lost their livelihood, and/or have become homeless.

Despite all this, we must be resilient and find something everyday that we can be grateful for. This will help us to at least keep going and for the foreseeable future, build our lives into what we want them to be, given our individual circumstances.

Making time to spend with loved ones who we missed during lockdowns and catching up with friends who we haven’t seen for some time adds some happiness to our day, which I’m sure you will want to do.

From time to time, I will share something I am grateful for, starting with a day back in 2007, when I went into Melbourne CBD to hug some strangers. It was a really fun day and I am grateful for having taken the risk to try something that was a bit of a thing back then.
