There was a time when I was content to work from home. It came with freedom to come and go as I pleased and best of all, I was my own boss.
That all seems like a life time ago now. I happily designed websites, created content and curated social media posts for a small number of clients.

Today I want to let you know that you are fabulous! Anytime you are feeling down or cannot shake the feeling you did something you maybe shouldn’t have, remember that it is what it is. We cannot change the past, however, going forward, we can make a difference.
Every day, we are given an opportunity to make it a great one. Of course you will have the odd day where you feel bluh, but do not despair, the good, and GREAT days exist too.
What a life we are living now. Over the past couple of years of the pandemic, there has been tragic loss all over the world. The biggest tragedy is the death of over 5 million souls globally, followed by the many hundreds of thousands plus, now living with long covid. Not to mention those who have lost their livelihood, and/or have become homeless.

On 15 February 2021, former Liberal staffer, Brittany Higgins, aired her story on The Project TV and to news.com.au
Ms Higgins alleges that she was raped by a colleague in the office of the then Defence Industry Minister, Linda Reynolds. Ms Higgins was later found by a security guard, intoxicated, disorientated, half naked and lying on the couch in the minister’s office.

You all know the saying, “whatever it takes”, well, a group of my friends used to exchange the word ‘takes’ for ‘tacos’ so hence, this is where the title of my site came from… now known as perky blogger.
Anyhoo, you found me so welcome.
